Golden Memories Volunteer


The Trust are looking for Volunteers for the new and exciting reminiscence project, Golden Memories. The workshops are designed for participants who are fans of WFC and have a dementia or a memory loss diagnosis. It is an innovative and ground-breaking project, with an aim to benefit all participants and their carers’.

The Trust are primarily looking for Volunteers with a passion for dementia care and are preferably avid WFC Fans. Dementia Awareness and First Aid Training will be provided.

The role will include supporting participants during the workshops and sharing your knowledge and passion for WFC 1-1 and within a group. Working as part of a team to reminisce from past players, favourite matches, football shirts, chants to the Golden Years of Graham Taylor and Elton John. Volunteering on our Golden Memories Project, you will be working with the Project Officer and our excellent team to provide the best quality person-centred care throughout the programme.

The workshops will be held in our Sensory Room at Watford FC’s Vicarage Road Stadium, from the middle of August to December, once a week from 10am-12pm.
